How to get there

Venue:

Windsor Racecourse is set in 165 acres of beautiful Berkshire countryside, on the banks of the River Thames and overlooked by Windsor Castle. The Racecourse is well located, with easy access of the M4, M25, M3 and M40 motorways, and has a two train stations close by (Windsor and Eton Central, Windsor and Eton Riverside). A FREE water taxi runs throughout the three days of IOG SALTEX from Windsor town centre to the exhibition. Heathrow Airport is just a few miles away from Windsor Racecourse.

By Road:

From the M25: Leave the motorway at Junction 15, where you'll join the M4, heading West.

From the M4:
From the West 
- leave the M4 at junction 8/9, follow the brown signs for Windsor Racecourse or yellow AA signs for IOG SALTEX.

From the M4:
From the East 
- leave the M4 at junction 6, follow the brown signs for Windsor Racecourse or yellow AA signs for IOG SALTEX.

Alternatively park in one of the car parks in Windsor town centre and use the FREE water taxi service to get to IOG SALTEX (see map and directions above).




By Bus:

Windsor Express bus number 700 connects London with Windsor. They depart from London Victoria Green Line Coach Station and you alight at Maidenhead Road, a short walk from the Racecourse. For more information call +44 (0)870 608 7261.

By Rail:

You can travel by rail to Windsor & Eton Central or Windsor & Eton Riverside stations from London Waterloo or to Slough station from Paddington or the South West. Pick up the FREE water taxi service at French Brothers Pier beside the River Thames to get to IOG SALTEX. See details below.

DISABLED ACCESS

Car Park A by the South Entrance of IOG SALTEX offers parking for visitors with disabilities. Please ensure your blue badge is visible so that the car park stewards can direct you to Car Park A.

You can also hire motorized wheelchairs and mobility vehicles inside the marquee at the South Entrance. You can book these in advance by calling Richard Lyle on 01628 796056 or emailing: Richard.lyle@rbwm.gov.uk

FREE WATER TAXI SERVICE

Whether you are travelling by train, coach or car to IOG SALTEX, avoid the traffic and arrive at the show in style using the new FREE water taxi service. The pick-up point for the ferry is at French Brothers Pier beside the River Thames by Barry Avenue. This is walking distance from Windsor Central Train Station and all the main town centre car parks - see map below. The water ferry runs from Windsor Town Centre from 8am until 6.30pm and takes visitors to the South Entrance of the exhibition. When you leave the show, simply pick up the water taxi from the pier by the South Entrance to take you back to Windsor town centre. The journey takes just 10 minutes and runs every half hour.
